The Decanter World Wine Awards are the prizes resulting from the largest and most prestigious wine contest in the world, according to its own website. This contest started in 2004 and is organized by the prestigious English magazine «Decanter». The jury is made up of more than 200 internationally renowned expert tasters, including Masters of Wine, Masters Sommeliers... who blindly taste more than 16,000 wines from all over the world.
